The detector has the following structure:

 Key Pad This is used to operate the detector and conveyor.

 Display This shows detector's processing.

 LCD Display This is the core of metal detector that consists of an internal coil and PCB to handle electronic signal.

 Guide This can prevent the product breaking away from conveyor belt.

 Motor & Reducer The motor supplies drum with rotary power. The reducer sets conveyor speed. Both are used to operate the conveyor.

 Conveyer Belt This allows movement of materials through the detector.

 Inspection This checks the product when the product passes the aperture.

 Power Box The power box consists of an I/O board that controls input and output signals, warning light, rejector, external device and SMPS (Switching Mode Power Supply).

 Adjuster This can adjust the horizontal height of metal detector.
 
METAL DETECTOR TYPE:
Generally metal detector is divided into two classes by coil format of head.
One is a closed coil type and the other is a separate coil type.

SENSITIVITY

 Sensitivity is at bottom of tunnel to avoid malfunction. Every position with a sensitivity. Guaranteed sensitivity standard at the centre of tunnel even if the position has low sensitivity.
VIBRATION Upper panel and bottom panel are separate. So the detector is affected by circumferential noise easily. The detector makes a mistake. Upper panel and bottom panel are not separated. So the head is very strong against circumferential noise.
COMPENSATION The periodical compensation is required. The machine compensates by itself. Hence, periodical compensation is not required.
PRODUCTION Productivity is high because the producing process is simple. Producing process is difficult. Technical know-how is required for stability.
